Horney - Martha Bell

Colfax, July 3 -Colfax, July 3 – Mrs. Martha Bell Horney, 69 of eight miles west of Colfax died at the Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. She was the daughter of Robert and Mary Dunbar and was born Oct 18, 1866. She was married to Oliver P. Honey on Feb 27, 1895. The survivors include five daughters: Velma, Ruby, Audrey and Mary at home and Mrs. Arther Waddell of near Colfax; three sons: John, Haven and Robert at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Hayes of Colfax; Mrs. Ira Hutchison of Greensburg and Lisha Dunbar of Colfax and a brother, Willard Dunbar of Greensburg. Funeral services will be held from the family home Saturday morning at 10 o’clock with the Rev. HM Ivey of Linden officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery. - kz
